:::::::::::: After the death of Selan, our heroes noticed that the Fortress of Doom, a floating island, was going to crash into Parcelyte. Unable to warp Maxim or Selan away, Artea and Guy save themselves. With what is left of his strength, Maxim takes his last journey deep within the island to destroy the Mystic Stones in order to change the course of the island. Upon reaching the last mystic stone, he sacrifices the last of his life energy to break the stone. "Selan, I changed the course. Parcelyte... our Jeros will be ok now. I'm tired. I'm so tired, Selan. Let me sleep for a while next to you..." Mysteriously, a gentle red ball of energy appears before Maxim and the voice of Selan can be heard, "Maxim... You did it, Maxim." "Yeah, I did, didn't I?" Maxim softly says as he smiles gently. "Let's go Maxim... Let's go to our son... and..." "Yes, let's do that..." And with his last words, Maxim softly dies as his blue aura and Selen's red aura travels the peaceful world they created for their son and everyone else. ::::::::::::::: The final scene in Lufia II, an old SNES game that had the most amazing emotional storyline. <3 Requested by Lufia II (c) Taito Corporation |

Thanks so much. I never imagined Selan having wings, but it doesn't take away at all, because I love how you made her look like a ghost compared to Maxim's worn-out flesh and blood. Sorry if I'm not quite as loquacious this time around...my mind's not letting me get words out.
I placed wings on her to kind of indicate that she's already dead: an angel. I wanted her to be near Maxim on his death besides being infront of him as a red ball of light. We also have to keep in mind that SNES graphics were not as splended as they are today.
